On Thursday, September 29th, Super Oldies 105.5 WQRK treated it's listeners to low low gas prices.
We get the job done!
Shannon In The Morning and Deb dropped gas prices to $2.00 a gallon for two hours or the first 105 cars at Johnny Junxions.
Within 50 minutes and 105 cars, over 1000 gallons of gas was pumped at a savings of $8.50 a listener. Each listener was given a maximum of 10 gallons at the super low price.
At regular prices, 1000 gallons of gas would take 6 hours to sell. As all the signs and pumps reflected the $2.85 price, listeners to Super Oldies were the only ones to be in on the secret!
Each lucky listener was given a special discount coupon good for the 2 hours. (Above)
